Writing

It struck me how time consuming blogging/writing is.  I have a lot of things I want to write about but I don’t have the time!!  There’s really no reason for me to share that but I wanted to.

integrity

I recently finished the book, integrity, by Henry Cloud.  Excellent, excellent book.  Hard to read, especially for me and I think in a way I hate Dr. Cloud.  But it is excellent.  He wrote it for people who want to succeed in business but it applies to life (and he refers to examples in life).

Do mountains hop or transfer slowly?

Matthew referred me to this blog post and in it I found perhaps the most insightful thing I have ever heard about Jesus saying our faith can move mountains:

I remember Jesus saying that there is a trust, a faith, that can command mountains to be thrown into the sea. Until recently—maybe as recently as this morning—I always imposed an immediate expectation to that miraculous kind of faith—visions of an entire mountain rising up at once. But perhaps the whole point of that illustration is THAT the mountain is moved, not how fast it is moved.
